Our AI Build Configurator Is Live on PeerPush (Plus Some Surprising SCR News)

Big news from the Strategic Crypto Reserve side of my life: our AI Build Configurator is now listed on PeerPush. If you’ve been following along, you know the configurator is the tool we built to answer one hard question quickly: what would it actually cost to stand up an AI data center? Now it has a proper home on one of the busier launch platforms for independent software, and I’d love for you to go see the AI Build Configurator on PeerPush.

Below I’ll explain what PeerPush is, why it’s a good fit for a small team like ours, what the configurator does, and one piece of company news I didn’t see coming.

What is PeerPush?

PeerPush calls itself “the product discovery platform for people and AI.” Think of it as a launch site and directory for software, built for indie makers, startups and small teams who don’t have a big marketing budget or a huge social following. You submit your product once, and it gets a permanent, structured listing.

PeerPush says it gets more than 1.3 million visits a month, has a newsletter with over 37,000 subscribers, and has more than 57,000 builders on the platform. Those are the company’s own figures, but the site is clearly busy. Every time I’ve checked, there’s a steady stream of new launches.

What makes it different from a regular directory is the structure. Every product is described with set fields for use cases, audiences, platforms and pricing. That makes it easy for a person to browse, and it also makes it easy for AI assistants to read. PeerPush runs an MCP server and a free public API, so tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini can look up products when someone asks, “What’s a good tool for estimating data center costs?” For a niche B2B product like ours, that’s a real advantage. People increasingly ask an AI first and Google second.

How PeerPush helps the SaaS community

I’ve watched a lot of small software teams launch on one big day and then disappear a week later. PeerPush is built around the opposite idea: steady visibility over time. Here’s how it works:

  • A launch that keeps going. Instead of one 24-hour race, products keep climbing through daily, weekly and monthly rankings, and builders can post product updates long after launch day.
  • Builders helping builders. You earn PeerPush Points by upvoting, commenting on and giving feedback to other products. The more you help other makers, the more visible your own product becomes. It’s a small, practical way of making the community supportive rather than cutthroat.
  • Build in public. Makers can share product updates, revenue badges and milestones, which builds trust with early customers.
  • Fair pricing. There’s a free option that waits in a launch queue, a $39 Standard Launch that publishes instantly with a permanent link, and promoted packages at $89 for seven days and $229 for thirty days, according to PeerPush’s FAQ.
  • Real feedback. Comments come from other founders who understand what it’s like to ship something, which is often more useful than generic praise.

For the wider SaaS world, that mix of community, structured data and AI discoverability matters. Most small tools never get found, not because they’re bad, but because nobody hears about them. A place where builders lift each other up, and where AI assistants can actually read the listings, gives good small products a fair shot.

What our AI Build Configurator does

The configurator models seven AI data center build configurations and prices them against Canadian provincial and US state power data, in Canadian or US dollars. You choose the size and type of build, and it works out the hardware, power, cooling and running costs so you can see the full picture before spending a dollar. You can try the AI data center cost configurator for free right now.

It’s also built for businesses that want to offer it to their own customers. The widget is white-labelled, centrally maintained and can be embedded on any website with a single script tag. We keep improving it, and every change is logged in the configurator’s public release notes.

For anyone thinking about the bigger picture, we’ve written up how we approach crypto mining data center design and what it takes to turn a Bitcoin mine into an AI data center. Those are two of the most common questions we get from people who already have power and buildings and want to move into AI.

Licences start with a C$950 screening report, then Standard at C$4,000 a year and Pro at C$10,000 a year, with Enterprise quoted separately. If you’d rather earn by recommending it, our affiliate program pays agents who send licence buyers our way.

How you can help the launch

If you try the configurator and find it useful, the best thing you can do is visit our PeerPush page, hit upvote and leave an honest comment. Tell us what worked, what confused you and what you’d add. Real feedback from real people is what PeerPush is designed around, and it’s what helps us make the tool better. Please don’t create extra accounts or trade votes. One genuine vote and a real comment are worth far more.

While you’re there, have a look around at the other launches. There are some clever little tools from makers all over the world, and giving them a vote or a kind word is exactly how the community is supposed to work.

Company news: Michelle Guesinger is campaigning to become SCR’s CEO

And now for the part I didn’t see coming. After three years with Strategic Crypto Reserve, Michelle Guesinger is now actively polling the directors at SCR to make her the new CEO of Strategic Crypto Reserve.

I’ll say this: she’s earned the right to ask. She has been around for the long haul, through the late nights, the experiments that didn’t work and the ones that did. Nothing has been decided, and it’s up to the directors. But I admire anyone who sees where a company could go and puts their hand up to lead it. I’ll keep you posted on how the vote goes.

The bottom line

PeerPush is a genuinely helpful place for small software makers: steady visibility, a supportive builder community and listings that AI assistants can actually read. Our AI Build Configurator is now part of it. If you work anywhere near AI, data centers or power, give it a try, and if you like it, let the PeerPush community know.
