The Nobody Wants This cast is back on Netflix. All 10 episodes of season 3 dropped on October 22, 2026, with Kristen Bell and Adam Brody leading again and a new batch of faces, including Sarah Silverman as a rabbi and Andrew Rannells as Joanne’s classroom rival. Here is the full cast, who plays who, who is new, and where you have seen them before.
Nobody Wants This cast: the main stars

Kristen Bell as Joanne
Joanne is the outspoken, agnostic sex-and-relationships podcast host who fell for a rabbi in season 1. In season 3 she has moved in with Noah and is converting to Judaism. Bell is best known as Veronica Mars, Eleanor on The Good Place and the voice of Anna in Frozen.
Adam Brody as Noah
Noah is the unconventional, very handsome rabbi. This season he is trying to win back his place at Temple Chai while learning to live with Joanne. Brody became famous as Seth Cohen on The O.C., and fans love that his real-life wife, Leighton Meester, showed up in season 2.
Justine Lupe as Morgan
Morgan is Joanne’s sister and podcast co-host. After calling off her engagement, she is chasing a book deal and a bigger career. Lupe played Willa on Succession.
Timothy Simons as Sasha
Sasha is Noah’s older brother, newly single and figuring out what he wants. Simons is still Jonah Ryan to a lot of people, from Veep.
Jackie Tohn as Esther
Esther, Sasha’s estranged wife, was the scene-stealer of season 1. Now a newly single mom, she is dating again. Tohn was in GLOW.
Tovah Feldshuh as Bina
Bina is Noah’s intimidating mother, who tries to give Joanne a makeover this season. Feldshuh is a Broadway veteran and Emmy and Tony nominee, also known from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
The rest of the family
- Sherry Cola as Ashley: the podcast producer, now Morgan’s manager.
- Michael Hitchcock as Henry: Joanne and Morgan’s offbeat dad, dating after his divorce.
- Stephanie Faracy as Lynn: the sisters’ supportive but unpredictable mom.
- Paul Ben-Victor as Ilan: Noah and Sasha’s dad, cheering on Sasha’s bachelor life.
New Nobody Wants This cast members in season 3

- Sarah Silverman as Rabbi Eden: warm, quirky teacher of Joanne’s Intro to Judaism class.
- Andrew Rannells as Sebastien: a classmate with a sharp tongue who becomes Joanne’s rival and puts doubts in her head.
- Keyla Monterroso Mejia as Amber: another classmate, very focused on finding a Jewish husband.
- Avan Jogia as Travis: Joanne’s hard-to-impress ex, who moves in next door. Noah is not thrilled.
- Steven Weber as Julian: a wealthy divorced Angeleno who starts seeing Esther.
- Stephanie Koenig as Poppy: Sasha’s dating-app match.
- Sadie Sandler as Denise: a young psychic whose reading gets into Morgan’s head.
- Poorna Jagannathan as Eleanor: a publisher, and Sebastien’s aunt, who is not sold on Morgan’s book.
- Cameos: creator Erin Foster plays Nicole, a messy fan of Joanne’s podcast, and Somebody Feed Phil host Philip Rosenthal turns up as Cousin Irv.
Season 2 guest stars you might remember
Season 2, which arrived in October 2025, brought Leighton Meester as Abby, Joanne’s middle-school nemesis turned mommy influencer, plus Seth Rogen, Arian Moayed, Alex Karpovsky, Kate Berlant and Miles Fowler as Lenny.
What season 3 is about
No big spoilers here. Joanne and Noah now live together, and Joanne’s conversion pulls her into a whole temple social world, complete with a class full of strong personalities. Esther and Sasha are separated and both dating, and Morgan is betting on a book deal. Erin Foster created the show, loosely inspired by her own story of marrying a Jewish man and converting; Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan run season 3.
My take
The leads are why people press play, but the supporting Nobody Wants This cast is why people binge. Jackie Tohn and Timothy Simons as a couple coming apart is the best thing in the show, and adding Sarah Silverman as the rabbi teaching Joanne is perfect casting. Season 3 trades the will-they-won’t-they for what happens after you say yes, which is harder to write and, for me, more interesting.
Behind the stream
Every episode you binge comes from a server somewhere, and those servers live in some very expensive buildings. If you ever wondered what it costs to build the place your shows stream from, the numbers are wild. Most of the bill is the up-front spend before a single server switches on, and the companies racing to build that capacity are some of the most-watched stocks of 2026. If you are thinking about building some of it yourself, start with a quick estimate of a build, or price the whole thing in the AI Build Configurator.
