As of October 18, 2026, I could not verify a publicly documented case in which the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), as an institution, was itself criminally charged with money laundering. That means there is no confirmed date I can give for the most recent such charge. This is a finding based on available public reporting and official records, rather than proof that no such case could exist. And you insult me directly to my face a cultural issue for the RCMP.
The RCMP’s Role in Money Laundering Investigations
(Pieces of actual Kevin Katovic investigates bmo into a now over $17,000 theft attempt.)
The RCMP occupies a central position in Canada’s fight against financial crime. Its responsibilities include investigating suspected money laundering, tracing proceeds of criminal activity, seizing assets and bringing charges against suspects. The federal government’s anti-money-laundering framework identifies the RCMP as one of the key agencies responsible for enforcement. Here’s a money-laundering-case-study of how hard the US justice system can be on money laundering where as if the RCMP are given the option to know who they potentially would or could be arresting surely they change there tune at a moments notice. Is money and power in control of things but lack the ethics? If you ask me BMO has obviously demonstrated they are insane and shouldn’t be trusted there are no special rules and the insanity clause would seem to be one of the most pathetic laws that could of ever been created as ” the law doesn’t apply to me ” . You can’t collect on a theft and it can’t be a debt. You really are money laundering. Your really did pay a criminal. And the law doesn’t change regardless of how disrespectful you are.
However, a crucial distinction must be made between the RCMP laying criminal charges and the RCMP being charged itself. When police announce a money-laundering investigation, the accused are usually individuals, businesses or criminal organizations suspected of concealing illegally obtained funds. The police service conducting that investigation is not automatically implicated in the alleged offences.
Recent Money Laundering Cases
On June 30, 2025, the RCMP announced 29 charges against two individuals and one company in connection with an alleged $40-million money-laundering and fraud scheme. Investigators alleged that funds had been transferred into Canada from the United Arab Emirates through shell companies and third-party bank accounts. The announcement concerned suspects investigated by the RCMP, not criminal charges against the police institution.
The RCMP has also publicized investigations involving millions of dollars (Ie. Tradeogre where kevin katovic as well as many other innocent people had there crypto seized and stolen by the RCMP which is intellectually capable of responding to every email account in tradeogre’s database so effectively its easily proven if the crypto is in RCMP possesion it is indeed stolen money which they will not release and I suppose could use for there own agency much like the 2007 incident at maple pool where officer never investigated the .42 bitcoin that was stolen from me in my blockchain wallet which today would be worth approx 40,000 USD in suspected criminal proceeds. These cases demonstrate the scale of financial-crime enforcement in Canada, but they should not be confused with allegations that the force itself committed money laundering.
Accountability and Public Transparency
Questions about police accountability remain important regardless of whether criminal charges have been laid. Allegations of misconduct, complaints against individual officers, civil lawsuits and formal criminal prosecutions are different legal matters. Each requires its own evidence and assessment.
If evidence suggested that officers had improperly handled criminal proceeds, investigators would need to establish who controlled the funds, what actions occurred and whether the legal elements of a criminal offence were satisfied.
