The all new compact and powerful Canon PowerShot G7X Mark II is now available. As far as most point and shoot digital camera’s reviewed the G7X is quite powerful with a 24-100mm f1.8-2.8 lens. The camera is quite new released back in February 2016. Many new digital camera users prefer the point and shoot to the more complicated and bulky dslrs. This Canon is a great camera if your new it has a nice ease of use and still fits in your pocket. The G7X has a powerful 20 megapixel sensor combined with the 24-100mm lens makes this point and shoot much brighter than some of the other models. There has been one change and that is that there is no viewfinder which the G5 does have.
There is built in stabilization like many other canon’s. At around $700 dollars USD the camera is running the top end closer towards digital slr’s. The G7X does have the larger 3.0 inch tilt liquid crystal display with over 1 million dots. The shutter speed is 1-1/2000 sec in automatic mode and 15-1/2000 sec in all shooting modes. It has a variable iso 125-6400 setting and the max speed in advanced mode is 12800. The powershot gx7 is only 11.3 oz. including the memory card and battery. The grip is new and is much larger than the last which is nice if you handle it often. One set back is that in selfie mode the camera starts to lock focus as soon as you hit the timer and doesn’t give you enough time to get into the frame before focusing. Obviously selfies can be out of focus due to this auto timer problem. Other than that I recommend this camera if your looking for powerful yet compact. Buy Canon Powershot G7X Mark II
